Dear Sirs,

Warsaw School of Computer Science with the seat in Warsaw informs that new Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) from 27 April 2016 of the European Parliament and the EU Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing of the Directive 95/46/WE (general regulation on data protection) called GDPR.  

The Personal Data Controller (WSCS) informs that:

1.Your personal data are processed for the purpose of recruitment process and in case you are selected as the prospective student, for the purposes of signing an agreement and implementation of the learning process as well as those resulting from legitimate interests pursued by the Controller and on the basis of your consent to the purposes compliant with the contents of the given consent.

2. The Controller of your Personal Data is Warsaw School of Computer Science with the seat at Lewartowskiego 17, 00-169 Warsaw. In all matters related to the processing of personal data and rights connected with the processing of personal data you can contact the Data Protection Supervisor on: iod@wwsi.edu.pl

3. Your personal data will be processed by Warsaw School of Computer Science throughout the period  of 6 months in accordance with the provisions of the Law of 27 July 2005 -  Law On Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 19 January 2018. If you consented to process your personal data for the purpose of marketing products and services then your personal data will be processed until you withdraw your consent. In case you are selected as the prospective student in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Higher Education.

 4. In accordance with the Regulation, Warsaw School of Computer Science may share your personal data with third parties working on a contract of mandate for Warsaw School of Computer Science i.e. third parties legally authorized to obtain information on the basis of the Law of 27 July 2005. Law On Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 19 January 2018 amending the regulation on documentation of the course of studies and the entities participating in the projects co-funded from the EU resources.

5.Your personal data may also be shared with third parties legally authorized to receive it on the basis of currently binding legal provisions, such as the Ministry of Education.

6. You have the right to obtain information concerning the processing of personal data by Warsaw School of Computer Science , to correct, delete or restrict the use of your data and the right to transfer your data  and the right to object the use of your data and the right to withdraw a consent to process your personal data.

7. You have the right to lodge a complaint to the  Personal Data Protection Office should you decide that the processing of your personal data breaches the legal provisions.

8. Providing personal data is voluntary in the scope in which the processing of your data takes place in order to complete the recruitment process, however, failure to provide data will result in not being able to participate in the recruitment process.
